WHERE & HOW TO FARM Where to farm In the Eye of the Beholder main mission, first Shrine, in Dream of the Nioh or Underworld.
This guide targets the Yoki listed at the first Shrine in In the Eye of the Beholder. The enemy is marked to respawn in the Dark Realm, so you can focus on that encounter rather than clearing every mission enemy. The endgame route applies to Dream of the Nioh or the Underworld; Soul Core drops and their traits remain random.
Before you go Reach Dream of the Nioh or the Underworld for the listed route. Unlock Shrine purification and have room to carry or manage Soul Cores. Prepare a build that can defeat the nearby Dark Realm Yoki safely. Select In the Eye of the Beholder on a listed endgame difficulty. Reach the first Shrine and restock or adjust your equipment before going further. Enter the nearby Dark Realm and identify the Yoki listed as a respawning spawn. Defeat the Yoki while managing Ki and using a Burst Counter when its Burst Attack is clear. Collect any dropped Yoki Soul Core and check it for traits relevant to your build. Return to the first Shrine and purify the Core if you plan to equip or retain it. Repeat the encounter while it respawns; if needed, complete or reset the mission and return. Farming tips The respawn marker describes the Yoki's location behavior, not its chance to drop a Core. Check that the selected difficulty supports the rarity you are pursuing before spending time on attempts. Repeat, collect and use Repeatable at the marked Dark Realm spawn where available. Core drops and desired traits are not guaranteed.
Common mistakes Confusing this with a guaranteed Soul Core farm: matching enemy type only makes the Core eligible. Ignoring Dark Realm pressure: prepare at the Shrine and avoid entering low on healing or Ki resources. Leaving a useful Core unpurified: visit the Shrine before resetting the encounter. When to stop or switch Stop when you obtain a Yoki Core with useful traits, or move to another suitable mission if the spawn is too costly to repeat.
