Use Rain Man as a crop-watering aid, then verify that your planted crops actually show the water status they need. This check helps catch plots that still need attention before you leave territory for a longer resource run.

WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Where to farm
Your territory’s crop plots, with Rain Man assigned to support crop watering.
Rain Man supports crop watering, but assigning the Deviant does not confirm that every plot is adequately watered. Treat the territory visit as a short maintenance loop: plant crops with known needs, assign Rain Man, inspect each plot’s status, correct any visible water shortage with your available setup, and harvest when plants mature. Rain Man does not replace seeds or fertilizer, and the available facts do not establish a guaranteed watering rate or yield increase.
A way to supply water manually if a plot remains short.
Inventory space for harvested crops and any seeds you plan to keep.
Plant the crops you intend to grow in territory plots, using the in-game crop information to check their water needs.
Assign Rain Man to its securement setup and enable its available work conditions.
Inspect the water status shown for each planted plot rather than assuming the assignment covered them all.
For any plot that still needs water, use your available territory water setup to correct its status.
Check the plots again after tending, and leave the crop area once the displayed needs are met.
Return to the plots later and collect mature crops from each bed.
Store the harvest for its intended use and retain seeds if you plan to replant.
Farming tips
Keep crops with different water or light needs easy to distinguish so you can spot a plot that needs separate attention.
Rain Man helps with watering; plan for seeds and any fertilizer separately.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat the plot inspection and harvest whenever you return to territory. Crop production is an ongoing farm; Rain Man does not make it a one-time collection, and the available facts do not establish a fixed watering or harvest schedule.
Common mistakes
Assuming every plot is watered because Rain Man is assigned: inspect each plot’s displayed water status and correct shortages.
Expecting Rain Man to provide seeds or fertilizer: collect or prepare those inputs separately.
Harvesting without retaining planting stock when you want another crop cycle: keep seeds as needed for replanting.
When to stop or switch
Stop tending when every active plot shows an acceptable water status and your crop stock meets its current use; pause planting if you cannot supply the needed seeds or water.
