Collect Oil from Expedition Rewards
Expedition interface at your base; select an available expedition whose displayed rewards include High Quality Pal Oil.
Before you go
- Access to the expedition feature and an available expedition showing its rewards.
- Pals suitable for the expedition’s displayed requirements.
- Storage space for returned items and a separate High Quality Pal Oil buffer.
- A Polymer recipe or other planned use, checked in-game before spending the oil.
Farming steps
- Open the expedition menu and review the currently available destinations and reward lists.
- Look for an expedition whose displayed rewards include High Quality Pal Oil; do not assume every destination offers it.
- Check the expedition’s requirements and choose an eligible group of Pals.
- Confirm the selection and send the Pals through the expedition interface.
- Wait until the expedition is shown as complete, then claim its returned rewards.
- Sort the reward inventory and move any High Quality Pal Oil into a dedicated storage buffer.
- Open the Polymer recipe and compare the collected amount with the batch you intend to make.
- Repeat with a suitable oil-reward expedition when available, then craft only after gathering the remaining recipe inputs.
- Check the reward preview each time, because the useful item depends on the selected expedition.
- Keep expedition oil separate from other materials so you can reserve it for a planned craft.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeatable when an available expedition lists oil as a reward and suitable Pals can be sent. Reward contents depend on the displayed expedition; treat this as a supplemental source, not a fixed guaranteed oil yield.
Common mistakes
- Sending Pals without checking rewards: verify High Quality Pal Oil appears in the current list.
- Assuming a fixed amount or guaranteed return: use the reward display and actual collected inventory.
- Spending the oil before checking Polymer’s full recipe: reserve it until the other inputs are ready.
When to stop or switch
Stop selecting oil expeditions when your planned Polymer batch and reserve are covered, or choose another reward goal if no current expedition lists oil.
