Map completion is the foundation of Path of Exile 1 endgame. Each map you finish advances the Atlas, and qualifying bonus objectives add Atlas passive points. Spend those points on map sustain or mechanics that fit the resources you want to farm.
Repeat with maps that still have incomplete bonus objectives; Atlas completion is a limited progression track, while mapping itself remains repeatable.
Switch to your chosen Atlas farming mechanic when the remaining objectives are too difficult or your Atlas passive setup supports the next goal.
