WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Where to farm
Village animal habitats suited to the domesticated species.
After domesticating animals, use the species information in game to check whether that species can breed and what habitat and care it needs. Maintain the required animals in suitable village housing, then check for offspring and care for them as they join the herd. This is a gradual herd-building goal; the game’s displayed conditions determine whether breeding is available.
Domesticated animals of a species the game identifies as breedable.
Suitable village habitat for that species.
The care or feed shown for those animals.
Inventory space for any products collected during checks.
Open the species information for your domesticated animals and check whether breeding is listed as an option.
Confirm the habitat and care needs shown for that species before expanding the herd.
Prepare the appropriate village habitat and invite the animals you intend to keep there.
Provide the displayed care or feed, and keep the animals housed in the required conditions.
Check the habitat and species information during regular village visits for any breeding or offspring status.
When offspring appear, use the in-game prompts to add them to the habitat and continue their care.
Collect available animal products separately, reserving items needed for requests or contributions before using the surplus.
Farming tips
Check the species entry first; breeding availability and conditions are not necessarily shared across animals.
Keep breeding checks on the same village visit as routine animal care and product collection.
Repeat, collect and use
Habitat preparation is a one-time step for each setup. Breeding and herd growth can recur only while the species supports it and its displayed conditions are met; product collection follows its own production state.
Common mistakes
Assuming every domesticated species breeds: verify that the species information lists breeding before preparing a herd.
Expanding the herd without suitable housing: check the habitat requirements and available space first.
Treating breeding as guaranteed or immediate: follow the displayed status and continue care checks rather than expecting offspring on a fixed schedule.
When to stop or switch
Stop expanding once the herd meets your product or village goals, or switch to another species if the game does not list breeding for your current animals.
