Farming steps
- Choose a target animal and read its species entry for habitat and domestication conditions.
- Travel to its listed habitat and locate the species there.
- Observe the animal until its species knowledge is registered.
- Prepare the food, tool, or interaction required by that species.
- Meet the listed conditions rather than chasing or interacting at random.
- Confirm the domestication result in game before moving on.
- Invite the animal to its village habitat if you want to care for it and pursue its products.
- Species conditions differ; use the target animal’s entry to plan each attempt.
- Separate learning the species from completing domestication: observation is a prerequisite, not proof that the animal is ready.
Repeat, collect and use
Domestication is a limited success for each animal you bring into the village; finding and working with other wild animals can be repeated for additional species, subject to their conditions.
