Use the Sacred Sword on mature crops to harvest seeds and pursue higher-level planting stock for future crops.

WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Where to farm
Any village development farm with mature crops; use the Sacred Sword on the chosen crop tiles.
A mature crop can be handled as seed stock instead of being harvested as produce. The Sacred Sword’s Sword Dance harvest action yields seeds, and the resulting crop or seed can have a chance to be one level higher than the planted seed. This creates a progression loop for improving planting material: grow a crop suited to its village, use the Sword on selected mature tiles, then reserve any improved seeds for the next planting. The level increase is a chance, not a guarantee, so keep enough seed to replant even when a harvest does not improve. Use this route for a crop whose level you want to raise, and harvest the remaining field normally when you need produce.
Sacred Sword and enough RP for its Sword Dance use.
Mature crops that you are willing to convert into seed output rather than ordinary produce.
Storage space to sort seed levels before replanting.
Choose one crop and village whose season suits it; keep the planting area separate from produce crops.
Plant the crop and water it with the Sacred Umbrella until it reaches a harvestable state.
Before using the Sacred Sword, confirm you can spare the crop as seed stock rather than food or sale produce.
Equip the Sacred Sword and use Sword Dance on selected mature crops.
Collect the seed drops and check their displayed level against the seed you planted.
Separate any higher-level seed from same-level seed and retain enough stock to replant.
Plant the improved seed in the next crop cycle and repeat the process if you want to continue raising its level.
Harvest other mature crops normally with the Sacred Fan or the game’s harvest interaction when produce is the goal.
Farming tips
A higher level is possible, not assured; retain enough seed for a full next planting.
Keep the seed-level trial patch separate so villagers or ordinary harvests do not consume your test stock.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat across crop cycles: grow the current seed level, use the Sacred Sword on mature plants, then replant any higher-level seeds you obtain. Each upgrade is chance-based and consumes the mature crop opportunity.
Common mistakes
Expecting every seed drop to gain a level: inspect the actual output and continue only with the result obtained.
Using all crops for Sword Dance when you need food or requests: reserve a separate produce patch.
Planting without enough replacement seed: keep a reserve so a no-upgrade harvest does not end the crop line.
When to stop or switch
Stop when the desired seed level is reached, or return to ordinary harvesting when produce, village requests or seed quantity is more important than level progression.
