Increase material collection during a focused deposit run when the rune is unlocked.

WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Where to farm
Rune selection before a map-based material run; apply it while collecting deposits on the chosen map.
Efficient Extraction is associated with improved material collection, making it useful on runs where you already intend to mine deposits. It does not change which minerals a map supplies: select the map based on its pool first, then equip the rune and collect deposits along a safe route. Check the current in-game rune text before starting because rune effects can change with updates. After the run, compare your inventory with the Blacksmith requirement and use the stock on the intended craft or upgrade.
Unlock Efficient Extraction through rune progression.
Choose a map whose mineral set contains the target resource.
Check the current rune description and the Blacksmith requirement.
Open the Blacksmith and record the material still needed.
Select a Void Fields map whose fixed pool includes that material.
Equip Efficient Extraction if the current rune description supports the collection goal.
Start at a difficulty your build can complete consistently.
Travel through the map and break exposed mineral deposits along the route.
Collect the materials while continuing to clear threats and pursue the run objective.
Complete the run and verify the inventory increase.
Use collected materials at the Blacksmith, then reassess the remaining amount.
Farming tips
The rune improves collection but does not alter the map’s fixed mineral set; map choice determines what you can target.
Read its current in-game description, especially after an update, before relying on an effect.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat the deposit run while the chosen recipe still needs materials from that map. Collected resources persist after the run and are consumed when spent at the Blacksmith.
Common mistakes
Choosing a map because of the rune alone: first confirm the target mineral is in its pool.
Assuming a specific bonus quantity: use the live rune description and inventory result rather than a fixed expectation.
Risking completion for distant nodes: collect reachable deposits and keep the run manageable.
When to stop or switch
Stop once the recipe has enough of the target material. If you still need a mineral outside the selected pool, change maps instead of repeating the same route.
