WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Where to farm
Rune selection before a run, then Major Soulstone pickups during the selected map.
Material Harvest is a rune-based collection option. With it equipped, Major Soulstone pickups during a run can grant random minerals or gems, giving a resource-focused run an extra source beyond breaking deposits. The rune’s value depends on the map: pair it with a Void Fields map whose fixed material set matches your crafting need, then inspect the resulting inventory after the run. The conversion is random, so it supplements a targeted farm rather than replacing the map’s direct deposits or guaranteeing a particular mineral.
Select a map with materials relevant to your recipe.
Have a Blacksmith or progression goal that uses the possible output.
Review the recipe or upgrade and identify the mineral or gem you still need.
Open rune selection and equip Material Harvest.
Choose a Void Fields map whose fixed material pool aligns with that need.
Start a build that can clear safely and collect Major Soulstones during normal play.
Collect Major Soulstones as they appear; keep breaking relevant deposits as well.
Finish the run and inspect your inventory for minerals or gems granted by the rune.
Compare your updated stock with the recipe requirements.
Spend the materials that fit your goal at the Blacksmith or relevant interface.
Farming tips
Pair the rune with a target map; random output is more useful when the map’s resources already align with your goal.
Keep direct deposit mining in your route because the rune does not promise a specific output.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat runs with Material Harvest while the recipe still needs materials that can come from your selected map and pickups. Spend usable minerals or gems between runs; the rune itself remains equipped for future attempts.
Common mistakes
Expecting one specific mineral: the rune grants random materials, so maintain a direct map-based source too.
Using it on an unrelated map: choose a pool that supports the same crafting target.
Forgetting to inspect the post-run inventory: verify what was actually added before planning the next farm.
When to stop or switch
Stop equipping Material Harvest for this target once the needed recipe stock is covered, or change maps if the remaining material is absent from the current pool.
