WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Where to farm
Arcade gate routes that cover Tier 1 depths, from depth 0 to before Moorcroft Manor.
Tier 1 is the entry Clockworks band, running from depth 0 until the route reaches Moorcroft Manor. It is designed around 0–1 star equipment, making it the practical place to collect early materials, crowns, heat items, and minerals while learning how gate routes work. The precise material pool depends on the level and containers encountered, so open chests and inspect the gate route rather than expecting a named rare drop. At a tier terminal, use the pause to heal, adjust equipment, and buy supplies before continuing or exiting.
Use equipment around the recommended 0–1 star range.
Bring supplies appropriate to the displayed route and your character’s needs.
Open Arcade gate selection and inspect the route’s depth and tier information.
Choose a gate that enters Tier 1 and matches the material category you want, if shown.
Clear each level and search its treasure containers for materials, crowns, heat, and minerals.
Collect only useful drops and keep track of the materials needed by your current recipe.
At a tier terminal or subtown, restore health, buy supplies, and change equipment if needed.
Continue through the Tier 1 route only while its loot and challenge remain useful.
Return to Haven and compare your inventory with your crafting or progression target.
Farming tips
Clockworks levels can provide several useful resource types, so check the contents rather than farming one assumed drop.
Avoid bringing gear far above the tier recommendation; the gate guide notes effectiveness is reduced for over-tier equipment.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat Tier 1 routes while you need early materials, crowns, heat, or minerals. The precise chest contents vary by level and run.
Common mistakes
Assuming every gate has an identical material route can target the wrong level; inspect the depth preview before entry.
Continuing past a terminal without replenishing can make later floors harder; use it as a recovery and equipment checkpoint.
Expecting a specific rare material from every chest is not reliable; treat drops as variable and stop based on actual inventory.
When to stop or switch
Stop when you have the materials for your current recipe or are ready for a higher tier. Leave or switch routes if the gate no longer contains the resource category you need.
