WHERE & HOW TO FARM

Where to farm

Arcade gate routes reaching Tier 2, continuing through Clockworks depths and subtown checkpoints.

Clockworks tiers proceed through subtowns as you advance. Tier 2 runs are useful when your access and the gate’s route align with a material or crafting objective. Clockworks levels can yield crowns, materials, heat, and minerals, while treasure contents vary. Before entering, identify the ingredient you need and check the gate route rather than assuming every run contains it. At a subtown terminal, you can heal, purchase supplies, and change equipment before continuing. These checkpoints help turn a long exploration into manageable segments, with a clear decision at each stop about whether more depths still support your goal.

GET STARTED

How to farm

Before you go

  • Access to a gate route that reaches Tier 2.
  • Equipment and supplies suited to the route shown at the gate.
  • A specific material, recipe, or progression goal for the run.
  1. Check the recipe or objective you are working toward and identify its needed materials.
  2. At the Arcade, compare gate routes and choose one that covers Tier 2 and fits the target.
  3. Enter the gate and clear levels, collecting materials, crowns, heat, and minerals you can use.
  4. Open available containers, keeping in mind that their contents are variable.
  5. At the subtown terminal, restore health, buy supplies, and adjust equipment if needed.
  6. Check your inventory and decide whether the remaining route still advances the target.
  7. Return to Haven when your needed quantity is collected, then use the materials in the relevant crafting path.

Farming tips

  • Use the recipe and gate preview together to plan; tier access alone does not promise a named drop.
  • Treat subtown terminals as planned recovery and equipment stops before continuing deeper.

Repeat, collect and use

Repeat Tier 2 routes while they support a current material or progression goal. Particular drops vary, and access depends on progression.

Common mistakes

  • Assuming every Tier 2 container holds the target ingredient leads to inaccurate planning; track actual pickups.
  • Entering a route without checking whether it reaches the needed tier wastes preparation; inspect its preview first.
  • Pushing past a subtown without restocking or adjusting can leave you underprepared; use the terminal when needed.

When to stop or switch

Stop when your recipe quantity is met or the route no longer matches the target. Choose another tier or activity for the next resource.
