WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Where to farm
Arcade gate routes that reach Tier 3, with subtowns and their terminals along later Clockworks progression.
Later Clockworks tiers continue through subtowns, where terminals let you recover and adjust before proceeding. Use a Tier 3 route when it is available to you and its displayed route fits a material or crafting goal. Levels can provide materials, crowns, heat, and minerals, but the particular contents of a container are variable. Decide what ingredient you need before leaving Haven, then count only what you actually collect. A subtown is a practical checkpoint for healing, buying supplies, and changing equipment; it is also a good time to decide whether the remaining route is still worth continuing.
Equipment and supplies suited to the route shown at the gate.
A recipe or material target to guide the run.
Enough inventory space to keep the materials you intend to use.
Check the relevant recipe or crafting objective and note the material you need.
At the Arcade, inspect available gate routes and select one that reaches the needed tier.
Enter the route and clear its levels, collecting useful materials, crowns, heat, and minerals as they appear.
Open available treasure containers, treating their contents as variable rather than guaranteed.
At a subtown terminal, heal, buy supplies, and change equipment if needed.
Review your inventory and target before continuing through later depths.
Return to Haven when you have enough of the needed material and use it in the planned recipe or crafting step.
Farming tips
Let the recipe determine the quantity to collect; a tier label alone does not ensure a particular ingredient.
Use subtown terminals to recover and reassess before taking on more depths.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat accessible later-tier runs while their route helps with a material goal. Resource drops vary; use collected ingredients in the relevant recipe or crafting path.
Common mistakes
Treating any chest as a guaranteed source of a rare ingredient creates a false target; count only materials actually collected.
Continuing past a subtown while low on health or supplies adds avoidable risk; recover and restock at the terminal.
Running a later tier for an ingredient without checking its source can waste time; match the route to the named requirement.
When to stop or switch
Stop once you have the quantity your recipe needs, or when the route no longer fits the target. Switch to the appropriate tier or another activity for your next ingredient.
