WHERE & HOW TO FARM

Where to farm

Crew Skills interface, using the companion mission list for a trained mission skill.

Crew missions let companions bring back resources without requiring you to harvest each node yourself. Choose a mission skill that supplies the material family your crafting plan needs, send an available companion, then collect the report and materials when it finishes. Results vary, so treat dispatches as supplemental supply rather than guaranteed quantities.

GET STARTED

How to farm

Before you go

  • A trained mission skill that supplies the material family you need.
  • An available companion to dispatch.
  • A destination use for the returned materials, such as a known crafting recipe.
  1. Open Crew Skills and identify the mission skill and material family relevant to your craft.
  2. Review available companion missions and select one that matches that material need.
  3. Choose an available companion and dispatch the mission.
  4. Continue questing or other activities while the companion is away.
  5. Reopen Crew Skills when the mission is complete and collect its report and items.
  6. Check the returned materials against the recipe you plan to make.
  7. Dispatch another mission if the recipe still needs inputs, then craft or store the materials.

Farming tips

  • Companion influence affects efficiency, but do not assume a fixed result; inspect the returned items each time.
  • Choose mission inputs based on a concrete recipe so scarce materials do not accumulate without a use.

Repeat, collect and use

Repeatable whenever missions and companions are available. Each mission’s result varies; dispatch again only if the stock still falls short of your crafting plan.

Common mistakes

  • Selecting a mission that supplies the wrong material family; check its displayed reward before dispatch.
  • Counting on an exact return; wait for the report and adjust the next dispatch based on actual items.
  • Forgetting to collect the completed report; returned resources are not useful until retrieved.

When to stop or switch

Stop dispatching when your inventory has the recipe inputs you need. Use them in the paired crafting skill or retain them for a later planned item.
