WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Where to farm
Planetary resource nodes for gathering; the Crew Skills interface and ship workstation for companion assignments and crafting.
Crew Skills let you gather resources, craft useful items, or send companions on missions. This is a general crafting loop rather than a confirmed Week 10 seasonal task: the supplied schedule does not list a War Supplies or Invasion Force objective. Pick a recipe you actually know, gather its required material families, and craft only when the inputs are in hand. Planetary harvesting nodes and companion missions are both recorded sources of materials; results vary, so treat the inventory and recipe screen as the planning tools. The output is the item made by your selected schematic, which you can keep for use or further crafting.
A character with a suitable gathering skill or companions available for missions.
A trained crafting skill and a recipe for the item you intend to make, if crafting is the goal.
Enough inventory or cargo space to collect materials and finished items.
Open Crew Skills and check which skills the character has trained, up to the available selection limit.
Choose a specific schematic from the trained crafting skill and read its material requirements.
For each needed material family, use a matching planetary harvesting node or an appropriate companion mission.
Check gathered materials and completed companion mission reports in inventory or cargo.
Continue collecting until the recipe’s displayed inputs are available; do not estimate a fixed yield.
Open the crafting interface or ship workstation and select the intended schematic.
Craft the item, then keep it for its intended use or as an input to a planned production step.
Farming tips
Companion influence affects efficiency, but material results vary; build the loop around observed inventory rather than promised amounts.
Gathering nodes and companion missions are both supported material sources, so choose the one that fits your play session.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat while you have access to suitable nodes or companion missions and materials remain useful. Crafting itself is limited by trained schematics and available inputs; no seasonal repeat is implied.
Common mistakes
Starting with a vague goal and collecting unrelated materials; select the exact schematic first.
Assuming companion missions or nodes yield a fixed quantity; check actual returned materials.
Crafting a War Supply for a supposed Week 10 objective; no such task is established by the supplied schedule.
When to stop or switch
Stop gathering when the chosen recipe’s inputs are stocked and stop crafting when you have the quantity you plan to use; redirect companions to other useful materials afterward.
