WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Where to farm
Your character’s ship: use the Crew Skills interface to assign companions and the ship workstation to craft the selected schematic.
This is a focused production workflow: select a known schematic, gather only the listed inputs, craft at the ship workstation, then use or store the finished item. Crew Skills let companions gather resources, run missions, and craft items, while one crafting skill can be supported by gathering or mission skills among a character’s three trained skills. The exact item and materials vary by schematic, so the recipe window supplies the concrete production chain. This workflow complements seasonal War Supplies objectives, which specify their own accepted recipes and should be handled from the active objective text.
A trained crafting skill and an unlocked schematic for the item you intend to make.
Materials matching that schematic’s displayed requirements.
A character ship and access to its crafting workstation.
Choose a specific item you need and find its schematic in the crafting interface.
Read the schematic’s material list and note how many units you plan to produce.
Check inventory and cargo for those inputs before assigning any crew tasks.
Use available gathering resources or relevant companion missions to fill missing materials.
Open the ship workstation and select the chosen schematic.
Craft the intended batch and collect the finished items.
Equip, consume, store, or otherwise use the output before deciding whether to make another batch.
Farming tips
A character can train up to three Crew Skills, with one crafting skill supported by gathering and mission skills; plan around the skills already selected.
Companion influence affects efficiency, while results vary; base the next batch on materials actually returned.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat as needed while you have the schematic, trained skill, and materials. This is a production loop; it does not guarantee profit or a fixed material yield.
Common mistakes
Collecting materials before checking the schematic; confirm the exact inputs first.
Assuming a companion mission guarantees enough materials; inspect its report and gather any shortfall.
Crafting a large batch without a use for the output; make only the amount your plan needs.
When to stop or switch
Stop once you have the planned quantity. Use or store the items, then return to gathering only if another recipe batch is needed.
