WHERE & HOW TO FARM

Where to farm

Surface grass for ordinary Mushrooms; underground mushroom areas or prepared Mud shelves for Glowing Mushrooms.

Pick ordinary Mushrooms from surface grass and gather Glowing Mushrooms in underground mushroom areas. To expand the glowing supply, plant Mushroom Grass Seeds on Mud underground and let the grass spread across an exposed shelf. Harvest mature mushrooms for recipes while leaving part of the growing area intact. A Staff of Regrowth can help when collecting plants for expansion, but suitable terrain and starter seeds are the core requirements. Store harvests separately for crafting.

GET STARTED

How to farm

Before you go

  • Access to surface grass and underground areas.
  • Mud blocks for an expanded Glowing Mushroom patch.
  • Mushroom Grass Seeds if establishing a new patch.
  1. Walk surface grass and pick ordinary Mushrooms as they appear.
  2. Explore underground mushroom areas and collect mature Glowing Mushrooms.
  3. For a renewable patch, prepare an exposed shelf of Mud underground.
  4. Plant Mushroom Grass Seeds on the mud and allow grass to spread.
  5. Return after growth and collect mature Glowing Mushrooms.
  6. Leave part of the grass and growing area intact after harvesting.
  7. Store mushrooms for recipes and preserve seed stock for expansion.

Farming tips

  • Keep the underground shelf accessible from a safe tunnel for repeat collection.
  • Use a Staff of Regrowth when collecting plants for seeds if available.

Repeat, collect and use

Collect again as mushrooms grow on suitable grass or mud. Preserve part of the patch; expansion requires suitable terrain and access to seeds.

Common mistakes

  • Trying to grow Glowing Mushrooms on ordinary dirt; use Mud underground.
  • Clearing the entire patch; leave mushroom grass and growing area intact.
  • Expecting surface Mushrooms to replace the underground crop; maintain both sources separately.

When to stop or switch

Stop when recipe needs are met. Leave the farm intact and return when you need more.
