WHERE & HOW TO FARM Where to farm Cave 1, Dead Cave, embedded in a body along the cave route on the eastern side of the peninsula.
Enter Cave 1, follow the route to the body associated with the weapon, and take the Katana before returning the way you came. This is a one-time equipment collection. Prepare for the cave journey and keep the exit route simple rather than branching into unrelated passages after the pickup.
Before you go A light source for the cave. A weapon and healing supplies for encounters. Enough inventory readiness to carry the weapon and return safely. Locate Cave 1 on the eastern side of the peninsula and enter through its surface entrance. Proceed along the main route, watching for cave hazards and hostile encounters. Continue to the body where the Katana is found rather than diverting into unrelated branches. Pick up the Katana and confirm it is equipped or available in inventory. Turn back along the route you used to reach the pickup. Return to the surface and use the weapon on later expeditions as needed. Farming tips Bring healing even if your goal is a single weapon pickup; the return trip is part of the expedition. Keep track of your inbound passage so the exit is easy to retrace after collecting the item. Repeat, collect and use One-time pickup. The Katana is retained once collected; revisit Cave 1 only for other cave objectives.
Common mistakes Continuing into unrelated branches after finding the weapon: retrace the known route to leave. Entering without a light: bring one before descending. Assuming the weapon removes cave risk: keep healing and a retreat plan for the return. When to stop or switch Stop exploring once the Katana is collected and you have returned to the surface.
