WHERE & HOW TO FARM

Where to farm

Delving of Frór beneath the Ettenmoors; access is available through original entrances and newer paths scattered around the region, particularly near outposts.

Rare ore from the Delving of Frór is a specialized Free Peoples resource for equipment intended for Ettenmoors combat. It is not ordinary landscape crafting ore. Enter Ettendeep through an available Delving access point, collect ore as you move through the area, and bring it into the Ettenmoors equipment crafting path. Because this is contested PvMP territory and enemies include powerful denizens, set a practical session goal and leave if opposition makes gathering unsafe. Check the equipment recipe or crafting interface for its exact material needs before committing to a long run.

GET STARTED

How to farm

Before you go

  • Enter the Ettenmoors as a Free Peoples character.
  • Use an available entrance into the Delving of Frór.
  • Prepare for PvMP opposition and hostile Delving creatures.
  • Identify an Ettenmoors equipment recipe that uses the ore.
  1. Before entering, inspect the crafting path for the Ettenmoors equipment you want and note the required ore amount.
  2. Travel to an accessible Delving entrance; use the nearest suitable path rather than assuming a single fixed entrance.
  3. Move through Ettendeep and collect rare ore you encounter while dealing with nearby threats.
  4. Keep track of the ore total and the safety of your route as enemy players or Delving forces appear.
  5. Use the Delving paths to exit or reposition across the Ettenmoors when continuing becomes unsafe.
  6. Return to the relevant crafting step and use the ore toward the selected Ettenmoors equipment.
  7. Recheck the remaining recipe requirement before beginning another gathering trip.

Farming tips

  • The new paths can shorten travel across the Ettenmoors, especially near outposts; use them as access options, not guaranteed safe corridors.
  • Free Peoples recover the rare ore; do not plan this particular equipment route around a Monster Player character.

Repeat, collect and use

Repeat ore gathering as needed for the equipment recipe. Ore availability and safe access depend on the contested area; there is no guaranteed quantity per trip.

Common mistakes

  • Treating the material as general crafting stock: reserve it for the Ettenmoors-specific equipment path.
  • Planning around outpost control preventing every threat: Gaergoth’s strongest lieutenants can enter regardless of control.
  • Staying in a pressured area to finish a target total: withdraw or change entrances when the route is no longer safe.

When to stop or switch

Stop when you have enough ore for the chosen equipment, or leave sooner if PvMP pressure makes gathering unsafe. Switch to a later run rather than risking an unproductive one.
