Where to farm
Ettendeep in the Delving of Frór; the weekly quest is offered by the War-tyrant at Gramsfoot or the Captain-General at Glân Vraig.
The Gaergoth hunt is the weekly boss objective in the Delving of Frór quest set. Accept it from your faction’s Ettenmoors quest giver, travel into Ettendeep, defeat Gaergoth, and return to claim the quest reward. The weekly structure makes this a limited objective rather than an endlessly repeatable daily farm. Gaergoth’s forces and lieutenants can make the route dangerous, and outpost control does not keep the strongest lieutenants out of the Delving, so prepare for opposition rather than treating this as a safe boss circuit.
Enter Ettenmoors in the appropriate faction character mode.
Accept the weekly Gaergoth quest from your faction quest giver.
Be prepared to fight through Delving enemies and possible PvMP opposition.
Bring a group if your character cannot reliably defeat the boss and its threats alone.
Visit the War-tyrant at Gramsfoot as a Monster Player or the Captain-General at Glân Vraig as Free Peoples.
Accept the weekly objective to eliminate Gaergoth before entering Ettendeep.
Choose an available Delving entrance and move toward the boss area, watching for hostile players and creatures.
Fight through the enemies blocking your approach rather than bypassing the quest objective.
Engage Gaergoth and defeat it; account for its forces and any lieutenants that join the fight.
Confirm the weekly objective completes, then return to your faction’s quest giver.
Turn in the quest and collect the reward before planning another Delving activity.
Farming tips
Outpost control can help allies establish footholds, but it does not prevent Gaergoth’s strongest lieutenants from entering.
Accept other available Delving quests before entering if their objectives align with the same trip.
Repeat, collect and use
One weekly completion per eligible reset, not a repeatable daily boss farm. Check the quest giver after the weekly reset for availability.
Common mistakes
Assuming outpost control removes the lieutenant threat: it does not; prepare for them to enter the fight.
Entering without the weekly quest: accept it first so the boss defeat advances the objective.
Continuing the run after the weekly credit is claimed without another goal: turn in and switch to daily objectives or ore gathering.
When to stop or switch
Stop after turning in the weekly objective. If Gaergoth is inaccessible under current PvMP pressure, leave and return when your side can make a safer attempt.
