WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Where to farm
The dark-ground area of Prime’s Aluminum Hills, near the Iridium cave.
Ore Extractor T3 targets one resource, which makes it useful for a dedicated Aluminum feed. The Hills are the named Prime deposit, but placement matters: use the dark ground area and confirm Aluminum appears as the output. Feed that Aluminum, along with Super Alloy, into an Auto-Crafter configured for Super Alloy Rods.
An Auto-Crafter with the Super Alloy Rod recipe available.
Super Alloy supply; each rod also consumes Aluminum.
Travel to the Aluminum Hills and identify the darker area among the shiny rock columns.
Place the T3 extractor inside the deposit zone and check that its output is Aluminum.
Provide power and collect Aluminum from the extractor.
Build an Auto-Crafter and choose the Super Alloy Rod recipe.
Supply the crafter with Super Alloy and Aluminum, keeping the extractor’s Aluminum available for that input.
Collect completed rods and replenish inputs as needed.
Farming tips
A T3 extractor targets one resource; verify Aluminum on the machine rather than judging placement by nearby landmarks alone.
Super Alloy Rods use eight Super Alloy and one additional Aluminum, so reserve Aluminum for both the alloy chain and rod recipe.
Repeat, collect and use
This is a repeatable production chain while the extractor is powered and the Auto-Crafter receives both ingredients. Collect rods and refill inputs as they are consumed.
Common mistakes
Placing the extractor at the edge of the Hills: move it into the dark deposit zone and confirm output.
Supplying Super Alloy but no separate Aluminum: the rod recipe needs both.
Assuming a production rate: plan around observed inventory and keep inputs stocked.
When to stop or switch
Keep the line running while rods are needed for construction; stop or redirect Aluminum once the rod stock meets your current build plans.
