Cultivated flora can be a route to resources associated with plants in a biome. Confirm the target plant and its actual output in game before building the field around a rare-material plan.

WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Where to farm
A Cultivator field in a base or outpost where the target plant species is available.
Choose a known species connected to the resource you need, cultivate it in a supplied field, and collect the output through a harvesting or logistics setup. Plant availability depends on the species and biome, so use the field’s available choices and observed output as the practical check.
A target plant identified through the game’s plant information or selection controls.
Cultivator with water and energy.
Collection or harvesting setup for plant output.
Storage for the produced resource.
Identify the exact resource bottleneck before choosing a plant field.
Review the available plant species and determine which is associated with the target resource.
Choose a base or outpost where that species is available in the Cultivator controls.
Place the Cultivator on clear ground and verify the operational range.
Connect water and power, then select the target species.
Set up collection and storage for the resulting plant output.
Check the collected resource type before investing in additional fields.
Expand only if the observed output is useful and the upkeep fits the local supply.
Farming tips
Do not infer the output solely from a biome label; confirm the species and collected resource in game.
Keep rare-resource fields separate from biomass fuel routing when the harvest has multiple uses.
Repeat, collect and use
Continue the field and collection cycle while the Cultivator has water and energy. This is renewable production, subject to available plant choices and operating inputs.
Common mistakes
Selecting a plant based on an unverified association: check actual output first.
Building outside the Cultivator range: use the area indicator.
Routing rare harvest into fuel by default: preserve the target resource in storage.
When to stop or switch
Stop expanding when the target resource reserve is adequate or the selected plant does not produce the needed output; switch to a confirmed source.
