Before you go Campaign research access. Research points and prerequisites shown for the desired level. A confirmed rare-element deposit or objective that needs the unlock. Identify the exact rare element required by a construction or objective. Open the research tree and locate Rare Element Mining. Inspect the desired level’s prerequisite chain and cost. Compare its unlock text with the mineral and deposit you intend to work. Complete the listed prerequisites and research the relevant level. Travel to a mission area with a confirmed matching deposit. Use the extraction method enabled by the research and connect its power or handling needs. Check the resource stockpile to confirm the operation yields the target. Farming tips Research levels are distinct; verify the needed level rather than stopping at the first unlock. Keep this track separate from Resource Synthesizers when planning a mineral supply. Repeat, collect and use Each research level is a one-time unlock. Mining can continue at available deposits, but each deposit is finite.
Common mistakes Assuming ordinary mines satisfy rare-element requirements: check the unlock and building description. Researching without a target: tie the level to an actual resource need. Leaving a mission without confirming extraction: verify the target stockpile.
