Search Chamber rooms for a large purple crystal and break it when you can handle the enemy it draws out. Defeating the spawned Badass is a way to collect additional Rainbow Crystals during the run. The crystals can later buy Blessings or category loot, but the encounter does not guarantee a fixed Crystal total.
Before you go Unlock the Chaos Chamber and enter a run. Bring enough damage and survivability to defeat an additional Badass enemy. Be willing to spend time on the extra fight rather than rushing the room. Enter a Chamber encounter and scan the room for a large purple crystal. Clear nearby threats enough to safely approach the crystal. Break the crystal to trigger its associated Badass encounter. Focus on defeating the spawned enemy while managing the room’s remaining threats. Collect any Rainbow Crystals dropped by the Badass and other enemies. Finish the room’s required encounter and collect the reward-point items. Continue the run, then spend the Crystal total on a Blessing or a Loot Bunny category. Farming tips Elite and Badass enemies have a higher chance to drop Crystals, but drops are not guaranteed. Skip the crystal if the extra fight would make an already difficult room unsafe. Repeat, collect and use Repeat in any run where a large crystal appears; room contents and Crystal results vary.
Common mistakes Breaking the crystal before clearing nearby threats: reduce pressure first when possible. Expecting a set payout: collect what drops, but do not assume a fixed amount. Ignoring the rest of the encounter: the Badass is extra, and the room objective still needs completion. When to stop or switch Stop seeking these crystals when the added combat threatens the run or when you have enough currency for the intended purchase.
