WHERE & HOW TO FARM Where to farm Sandwing Queen Masika’s lair on the Egyptian desert campaign route in Act II.
Reach Masika’s desert encounter and clear the named queen each pass. Check green equipment for the relevant MI base and assess the affixes against your current build. This route is useful when the specific item type is valuable to you; it is not a general promise of a particular drop or a reason to clear unrelated desert areas indefinitely.
Before you go Progress through Act II to the desert section containing Masika. Have a reliable route to the nearby rebirth fountain or reset point. Bring defenses suited to the queen and nearby desert enemies. Make room for green gear and consumables. Use the nearest activated rebirth fountain to reach the desert route leading to Masika. Follow the campaign path to the queen’s lair and clear any enemies that obstruct the approach. Engage Masika and avoid standing in dangerous attacks while maintaining damage. Defeat her and inspect green drops for the exact MI base you want. Keep useful pieces, then return to town or the fountain to clear inventory. Reset the encounter as available and repeat while the target remains valuable. Farming tips Look for the actual item base rather than assuming every green drop is a Sandwing MI. Choose a difficulty where you can complete the route safely; faster reliable clears beat risky attempts. Repeat, collect and use Repeatable after the encounter resets, subject to campaign state. Masika’s target loot and useful affixes are not guaranteed.
Common mistakes Expecting a drop on every kill: treat each clear as a chance and set a reasonable stopping point. Overlooking nearby threats while focusing the queen: clear blockers or reposition before committing. Farming an item level you have outgrown: switch to a later target when the expected gear no longer helps. When to stop or switch Stop when you acquire a useful MI, can no longer benefit from the item level, or a safer later farm becomes more productive.
