WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Where to farm
New Game Plus campaign zones and post-campaign Mapworks content.
New Game Plus lets a completed character revisit campaign and map content with further character-level progression. That makes it a useful stage for pursuing higher-level equipment, including set pieces, while replaying familiar routes. Set drops remain random, so plan around the bonuses you can use rather than assuming a boss will complete a set. Compare each piece with your current gear before trading away individual stats for a partial bonus.
Complete the main campaign and start New Game Plus.
Have a build ready for the increased progression challenge.
Know which set bonuses or equipment slots could help your character.
Enter NG+ and advance through campaign zones appropriate to your character.
Clear enemy groups and bosses along the route, collecting equipment drops.
Inspect set items and record which pieces support your build or move you closer to a useful bonus.
Compare a set piece’s individual stats and bonus with the gear it would replace.
Continue the campaign or use unlocked maps to seek further level-appropriate drops.
Store promising pieces for later combinations and sell items with no build use.
Farming tips
NG+ supports further level progression; use it when current-cycle areas no longer offer useful challenge or gear.
A partial set is not automatically stronger than well-matched individual equipment.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat through NG+ campaign and map content. Set pieces are random drops; completing a set is not guaranteed within a fixed number of runs.
Common mistakes
Starting NG+ without gear suited to the higher challenge; upgrade before pushing into difficult routes.
Equipping a set piece solely for its name; compare actual stats and active bonuses.
Discarding a useful duplicate or partial set too early; store pieces while pursuing a combination.
When to stop or switch
Stop a set hunt when its bonuses no longer fit your build or a better individual setup is available; move to higher-level content as progression advances.
