WHERE & HOW TO FARM Where to farm Mapworks vendor and the purchased map portal after campaign completion.
Mapworks maps have their own levels and monster sets, so each purchased scroll defines the area you are farming. Armor drops are not guaranteed, and the exact equipment pool varies. Pick a map that suits your character and build, clear enemies and reward areas, then compare armor by its actual defensive and build-relevant properties. A higher-level item is not automatically an upgrade if its effects undermine your setup.
Before you go Complete the campaign and unlock Mapworks. Have gold for a map scroll appropriate to your current level. Identify the armor slot and defenses or effects your build needs. Check the available Mapworks scrolls and choose one near your progression level. Review the map’s monster set and select a route you can clear safely. Enter the map and defeat enemy groups while inspecting armor drops. Open available chests and clear through to the final boss. Compare armor by defenses, stats, sockets, and effects that support your build. Keep upgrades, sell or store the rest, and buy another scroll if the search remains worthwhile. Farming tips Different maps have different levels and monster sets; check the scroll before entering. Keep an item only when its full stats improve the build, not simply because it has a higher level. Repeat, collect and use Repeat with additional purchased maps. Armor drops are random, and a particular slot or item is not guaranteed.
Common mistakes Assuming one map has the same enemies and loot every time; inspect each scroll’s details. Replacing a useful item based only on armor rating; compare the full set of effects. Leaving before checking the boss area and chests; complete the route when safe. When to stop or switch Switch to another map when the current level is underpowered or its run is too dangerous; stop farming the slot when you find a clear upgrade.
