Champion packs are part of the enemy groups encountered in high-level areas. Mapworks offers repeatable maps with different monster sets, making it a practical place to combine elite fights with boss and chest clearing. The route does not guarantee a rare or Legendary item; high-level areas are associated with Legendary eligibility, while each drop remains random. Prioritize packs your build can defeat without spending more time and resources than the rest of the map is worth.
Before you go Unlock Mapworks and reach high-level progression. Have equipment and defenses appropriate to the selected map. Carry enough healing supplies and inventory space. Choose a Mapworks scroll near your level and inspect its monster set. Enter the map and clear toward champion groups rather than skipping every difficult fight. Engage one pack at a time when possible and use your build’s reliable damage and defenses. Collect and inspect drops after each encounter, noting upgrades for your character. Continue clearing through the map and defeat the final boss if the run remains safe. Open reward areas, then return to town to sort equipment and decide on another run. Farming tips Higher-level areas support Legendary eligibility, but no champion pack guarantees one. Choose maps with enemies your build handles well; a shorter safe clear can be more productive. Repeat, collect and use Repeat by purchasing further suitable Mapworks scrolls. Champion spawns and loot are not fixed guarantees.
Common mistakes Assuming every champion drops high-tier gear; inspect results and keep expectations random. Fighting too many elites while low on supplies; disengage or end the run when survival is at risk. Leaving before the boss and map rewards are checked; finish the route if it remains safe. When to stop or switch Stop the run when champion fights become unsafe or drops no longer justify the time; choose a better-suited map or improve your gear.
