Animal Products

Livestock can supply recurring ingredients such as milk and eggs, provided the matching animal building and feed are part of the farm plan.

WHERE & HOW TO FARM

Where to farm

The matching coop or livestock building on the farm.

Animal products depend on keeping the right animal in its matching building and having the corresponding feed available. Set up only the species you can support, then follow its care interactions and check the building or animal for ready products. Collect what is available and move it to kitchen storage for recipes that use it. Exact product timing and care interactions can vary by animal, so follow the current in-game prompts rather than assuming a universal cycle.

GET STARTED

How to farm

Before you go

  • Access to the relevant animal building.
  • Livestock of the matching type.
  • The matching feed and storage for collected ingredients.
  1. Choose an animal product that your planned dishes actually require, such as eggs or milk.
  2. Place the matching animal building in a farm area that does not block crop paths.
  3. Acquire the appropriate animal for that building through the game’s available livestock system.
  4. Obtain and place the correct feed before relying on the animal for ingredients.
  5. Use the animal or building interactions shown in-game to provide care and check its status.
  6. Collect products when they are ready, following the prompt for that species.
  7. Carry products to kitchen storage and use them in recipes; replenish feed before the next care round.

Farming tips

  • Start with one animal type that fills a real recipe need so feed and collection stay simple.
  • Make product collection part of the same farm visit as crop care.

Repeat, collect and use

Product collection is a recurring activity while animals are housed and supplied with their matching feed. Buying and placing livestock is a setup cost; care and collection continue as long as you maintain them.

Common mistakes

  • Building a pen before securing feed creates an unsupported setup; stock the matching feed first.
  • Using the wrong feed does not meet that animal’s requirement; check the species and its feed.
  • Collecting products without a recipe plan can clog storage; reserve space and use output in matching dishes.

When to stop or switch

Stop expanding livestock when the kitchen has enough of the chosen product or you cannot keep the required feed supplied.
