Fruit Trees

Fruit trees provide seasonal fruit for tavern recipes while reserving part of the farm for a longer-term ingredient source.

WHERE & HOW TO FARM

Where to farm

Unplowed farm ground with open space around the tree; seasonal fruit can also be purchased from Lia in Rilia.

Treat fruit trees as a seasonal source rather than a guaranteed daily supply. Place a tree on suitable unplowed ground with room around it, then collect fruit when that tree’s season is active. Fruit availability changes with the seasons, so pair tree harvests with recipe planning and use Lia’s produce shop in Rilia to cover a specific shortage when your trees are out of season.

GET STARTED

How to farm

Before you go

  • Suitable unplowed farm ground with room for a tree.
  • Fruit sapling or tree seed when available in your game.
  • Storage space and a recipe or menu use for the fruit.
  1. Review the recipes you want to serve and identify which fruit is useful to keep on hand.
  2. Choose a clear area of unplowed farm ground away from crop rows and paths you need for regular harvesting.
  3. Obtain a fruit sapling or tree seed through the available in-game source, then place it on the selected ground.
  4. Leave open space around the placed tree so it does not obstruct movement or later farm work.
  5. Check the tree and season during farm rounds. Collect fruit when it is available rather than expecting an out-of-season yield.
  6. Move fruit into kitchen storage and use it in recipes that require it; keep only the quantity your menu can use.
  7. When a recipe needs fruit outside its availability period, check Lia’s shop in Rilia for produce rather than clearing the tree.

Farming tips

  • Group trees at the farm edge so they stay clear of Hoe, Watering Can and Scythe passes.
  • Plan fruit dishes around seasonal availability, and use purchases to bridge an actual shortfall.

Repeat, collect and use

Fruit collection recurs when the tree’s fruit is available, but seasonal availability is limited. Planting is a setup task; the harvest loop is to check in-season trees, collect and use or store the fruit.

Common mistakes

  • Planting on crop soil or in a narrow path can disrupt field work; reserve open unplowed ground.
  • Assuming fruit is available all year can leave a menu short; check season and shop stock.
  • Planting many trees without recipe demand uses space; start with the fruit your kitchen needs.

When to stop or switch

Stop adding trees once your seasonal fruit supply fits planned dishes and the farm still has space for crops and animal buildings.
