WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Where to farm
Seasonal fruit trees on the farm, ingredient storage, and the Tavern Brewing Barrel.
Cider offers a focused orchard-to-barrel goal: check the cider recipe, collect fruit while it is available, then process the exact inputs in a Brewing Barrel. Fruit availability changes by season, so plan around the fruit you can actually gather. This route makes cider only; it does not treat grain as a universal drink ingredient.
An unlocked cider recipe; check its listed ingredients.
A Brewing Barrel and room to store gathered fruit.
Open the cider recipe and note every required ingredient before gathering anything.
Check which fruit is currently available from your trees; fruit availability varies by season.
Collect available fruit and place it in ingredient storage, keeping enough for the recipe.
Gather or purchase any other listed ingredients that are missing.
Use the Brewing Barrel for the cider recipe; the Fermentation Tank is for Lager and Ale.
Add the recipe inputs, then collect the finished cider when ready and move it to Tavern storage.
Before the fruit season ends, check remaining stock and decide whether to make another batch or save the fruit for cooking.
Farming tips
Use the recipe list as the ingredient checklist; fruit alone may not complete a batch.
Keep fruit harvests separate from general kitchen stock until you have reserved what the cider recipe needs.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat while the required fruit and other recipe inputs are available: collect or obtain the listed ingredients, brew cider in the Brewing Barrel, and replenish Tavern stock. Fruit availability is seasonal, so this is not a year-round collection loop.
Common mistakes
Putting cider in a Fermentation Tank uses the wrong vessel; make it in the Brewing Barrel.
Assuming any available fruit completes the recipe can leave the batch short; check the cider recipe’s exact inputs.
Waiting until fruit is out of season can interrupt supply; collect and store it while available.
When to stop or switch
Stop when cider stock meets your menu needs or the required fruit is no longer available; switch to a drink whose ingredients you can currently supply.
