Silver is a late-game metal used in Dark Silver progression. Carrying it causes Silver Sickness, so the return journey needs preparation as well as mining strength.

WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Where to farm
Sacred Silver Mine in northwestern Silverlight Hills.
The Sacred Silver Mine is the strongest focused source for Silver Ore in Silverlight Hills. Mine with the required weapon tier, manage the carrying hazard, and bring back a load you can transport safely. Resistance helps control Silver Sickness; it does not make careless overloading a good plan.
Reach Silverlight Hills with combat gear suited to its dangerous patrols.
Bring an Iron Mace or better to mine silver veins.
Prepare applicable Silver Resistance protection and an open route back to shelter.
Leave inventory capacity for ore and any other useful loot.
Travel to the Sacred Silver Mine and identify silver veins before engaging more enemies than necessary.
Clear threats near a chosen vein so mining is not interrupted by attacks.
Mine Silver Ore with an Iron Mace or better, collecting manageable amounts.
Watch for Silver Sickness while carrying the ore; do not treat resistance as immunity.
Use the safest available return route and reach shelter before the hazard becomes overwhelming.
Unload the ore at your castle and reserve it for Dark Silver and other currently unlocked recipes.
If you need more, repeat after restocking protection and checking your route.
Farming tips
The Mine is the most reliable abundant source identified for silver, so it is a practical destination when smaller incidental finds are insufficient.
Resistance options do not all stack; choose the protection that applies to your setup instead of carrying several versions expecting their effects to add.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat short, manageable collection runs. Smelt or otherwise process the ore only for recipes currently available, and keep future crafting needs in mind.
Common mistakes
Using a weapon below Iron Mace tier: upgrade before planning to mine the veins.
Carrying too much because resistance is active: return early if sickness or danger rises.
Assuming multiple resistance brews and gear stack: select the applicable protection and confirm your character is prepared.
When to stop or switch
Stop when you have the silver needed for your next Dark Silver or crafting milestone, or retreat immediately if the carrying hazard becomes unsafe.
