WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Where to farm
The crafting interface for the relevant Artisan expertise: Weaponsmithing for Orna Weapon Enhancement Catalyst, or the matching Armorsmithing/Tailoring expertise for armor catalyst plans.
Orna Enhancement Catalysts are crafted support items for players enhancing Orna gear at +11 or above. The catalyst adds 10% enhancement chance when used, so the practical target is a catalyst matched to the equipment slot you plan to enhance. Catalyst plans are automatically obtained upon reaching Artisan level in the corresponding expertise. Crafting still requires that expertise, its materials, and the correct catalyst recipe. Check the current crafting interface for the exact ingredient list and quantity before gathering; this route is a production chain, not a guaranteed enhancement result.
Orna equipment at +11 or higher that you intend to enhance.
Artisan-level expertise matching the catalyst type.
The catalyst plan and crafting materials shown in the crafting interface.
Identify whether your enhancement target is a weapon, chest/leg armor, or head/hand/feet armor.
Check Character Window > Talent > Shared Expertise to see whether you have the required Artisan expertise available.
If needed, raise the chosen expertise to Professional proficiency 399, complete the High Expertise Artisan story with the Strange Traveler in Colhen, and pass the advancement test.
Open the matching crafting interface and locate the Orna Enhancement Catalyst plan unlocked for that expertise.
Review the listed ingredients and gather only what the plan requires.
Craft the catalyst and verify it is in your inventory before beginning the equipment enhancement.
Use the catalyst when enhancing eligible +11 or higher Orna equipment, following the enhancement interface prompts.
Farming tips
Choose the catalyst type from the equipment slot first; armor catalysts are grouped by slots, so match the plan to your item.
If another character’s highest expertise is shared, check its level and plan availability before investing in a second expertise.
Repeat, collect and use
Catalysts can be crafted again whenever you have the materials and the matching expertise. Each use consumes a catalyst; the expertise plan remains available after crafting.
Common mistakes
Using the wrong expertise or catalyst plan: match weapon versus armor slot before gathering ingredients.
Expecting Artisan level alone to craft: verify the required plan and materials in the crafting interface.
Treating the 10% bonus as a guarantee: it increases enhancement chance but does not ensure success.
When to stop or switch
Stop crafting when you have a catalyst for the planned enhancement attempts or when additional catalysts exceed your available materials; resume when preparing another eligible Orna enhancement.
