Where to farm
Adventure campaign missions launched from the Keep’s mission board on Legend difficulty.
Legend Vaults are the dependable campaign target when you want Veteran (red) equipment. The reward is persistent equipment for your heroes, unlike weapons and boons acquired during a Chaos Wastes run. Difficulty and the mission’s collected books affect the quality of the end reward, so a successful clear matters more than taking unnecessary risks for every collectible.
Unlock Legend difficulty and choose a mission your group can complete consistently.
Know the Tome and Grimoire locations if you plan to collect books.
Coordinate with the team before carrying Grimoires, which increase the run’s risk.
From the Keep, select an Adventure mission on Legend.
Agree on whether the group will pursue books or prioritize a clean completion.
Advance through the mission and collect accessible Tomes, Grimoires, or Loot Dice when safe.
Keep the team together through difficult encounters and the finale.
Complete the objective and extract; a failed run does not provide the intended completed-mission reward.
Return to the Keep and claim the resulting Vault.
Open it from your inventory and inspect Veteran items for useful slots or duplicates.
Farming tips
Tomes, Grimoires, and Loot Dice can improve the reward container, but do not let a collectible endanger the clear.
Upper Champion chests can produce Veteran items, but Legend Vaults are the more dependable farming target.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat successful Legend missions and open each earned Vault. The gear pool is random, so this is an ongoing farm rather than a guaranteed specific item.
Common mistakes
Treating Cataclysm as a separate guaranteed red-item reward; the reliable target is the Vault earned from the completed mission.
Chasing every book after the group is in danger; skip risky collectibles and secure the clear.
Expecting a particular weapon from one Vault; keep opening rewards and use crafting for a specific eligible upgrade.
When to stop or switch
Switch to another mission or difficulty if repeated failures are costing more progress than your group can sustain; return to Legend when clears are reliable.
