Where to farm

Volatile Kemono quests listed for the region associated with the Magical Orb needed at the Forge.

Choose a Volatile hunt according to the Magical Orb named in your equipment’s Limit Break cost. The April update notes that successful Volatile hunts drop the corresponding Magical Orb, and target-region quest listings help identify where to hunt. This makes the hunt board the practical route selector: confirm the material at the Forge, match it to a listed region and Volatile target, then complete that hunt and collect its reward. Do not assume a hunt in another region will provide the same type.

How to farm

Before you go

Unlock Volatile Kemono hunts.
Have access to the region that supplies the needed orb type.
Have a weapon or armor Limit Break cost to check.

Open the Forge and inspect the Limit Break materials for the selected item.
Record the exact Magical Orb type required.
Open the Volatile hunt list and inspect the region shown for each available target.
Select a Volatile target in the region associated with the required orb.
Prepare for the listed hunt and defeat the Kemono.
Collect the successful hunt’s rewards and verify the orb type.
Return to the Forge and use the orb on the eligible Limit Break.

Farming tips

Use the displayed quest region as the selection check; the regional link is what matters for the orb type.
Keep the exact material name in view while planning so Magical Orbs are not confused with Core Orbs.

Repeat, collect and use

Repeat successful Volatile hunts in the appropriate region when more of that regional Magical Orb is needed.

Common mistakes

Selecting an ordinary hunt: choose a Volatile quest for this reward route.
Choosing by target name without checking region: confirm the listed region against the required orb.
Leaving rewards uncollected: inspect the hunt reward and inventory before returning to the Forge.
