Collect weekly knowledge drops as part of a normal herb circuit, use the weekly Herbalism treatise when available, and visit profession treasures you have not yet claimed. Spend the resulting points in Botany or a relevant herb tree after choosing the route or material you want to improve.
Before you go Midnight Herbalism. Access to Midnight zones and any unclaimed profession treasures. A weekly Thalassian Treatise on Herbalism use available. Choose a Midnight herb route that supplies materials you need. Gather nodes and collect eligible Herbalism weekly knowledge drops when they appear. Use the Herbalism treatise if its weekly use is available. Visit profession treasure locations you have not yet collected and claim the Herbalism knowledge. Open the Herbalism journal and review the points earned. Spend points in Botany or the specialization that supports your intended herb target. Farming tips Pair knowledge gathering with a useful material route, since weekly drops have caps and may not appear on every gather. Mounted gathering from Botany can make hostile routes easier once that benefit is unlocked. Repeat, collect and use Weekly drops and treatise uses are limited by their weekly rules. Profession treasures are one-time per character and do not reset for repeat farming.
Common mistakes Expecting unlimited knowledge from herb nodes ignores weekly caps; keep gathering for herbs after the cap. Revisiting already claimed treasures cannot provide another reward; mark one-time sources as complete. Spending points without considering a target route may delay a useful unlock; select the goal before investing. When to stop or switch Stop the weekly knowledge pass when eligible drops and treatise uses are exhausted and all desired one-time treasures are claimed.
