Where to farm
Midnight Season 2 Lairs world-boss activity.
Join a group for an available Lair boss, defeat it at a difficulty your group can manage, and claim its available reward. This is a targeted boss encounter rather than an unlimited loot farm: check in-game reward availability and stop once the claim is used or you no longer want the encounter’s other rewards.
Access to the Lair activity and its current reward information.
Open the Season 2 activity interface and identify an available Lair boss.
Review the activity’s difficulty and reward status before joining.
Form or join a group suited to the selected encounter.
Travel to the Lair and follow encounter objectives with the group.
Defeat the boss and claim its available reward.
Check whether another eligible reward claim remains before repeating or switching activities.
Farming tips
Confirm reward availability in game before assembling a group; claims may be limited.
Season 2 also includes Delves, Prey, raids, and Mythic+; choose the activity that matches your gear goal.
Repeat, collect and use
Lair encounters may be replayed, but boss rewards are subject to in-game weekly or seasonal limits. Repeating after the claim is used is for other goals, not guaranteed additional loot.
Common mistakes
Assuming each kill grants a fresh reward can waste group time; check reward status first.
Joining a difficulty beyond the group’s capacity can prevent completion; match the encounter to the group.
Leaving before the boss is defeated forfeits the encounter’s reward chance; complete the fight and claim loot.
When to stop or switch
Stop after using the available reward claim or when the boss no longer serves your progression goal; switch to another eligible Season 2 activity.
