Where to farm
The Crimson Armory approach in Road’s End, during Armory Assault in The Secret Armory of General Knoxx.
During Armory Assault, General Knoxx is part of the combat approach in Road’s End. Defeat him as the mission directs, then search the area before continuing. Treat this as a progression stop: the supported repeat Armory visit comes later through Super-Marcus Sweep, and does not establish that Knoxx himself respawns. Bring enough ammunition for the Lance forces and leave room to pick up equipment. If the fight is already complete, move on with the mission rather than returning expecting another Knoxx encounter.
Own The Secret Armory of General Knoxx and reach Armory Assault.
Bring a loadout that can handle the Lance forces on the approach.
Leave some backpack capacity for equipment you may want to keep.
Follow the Armory Assault objective to Road’s End.
Advance along the mission route and clear the Lance forces that block progress.
When Knoxx joins the encounter, focus on defeating him while preserving ammunition for the surrounding fight.
After the area is safe, check nearby drops and compare them with your current equipment.
Pick up useful upgrades and any surplus you have room to carry.
Continue the mission objective toward the Armory approach.
After completing Armory Assault, check with Marcus for Super-Marcus Sweep if you want another Armory visit.
Farming tips
Keep ammunition for the main encounter instead of spending it all on enemies encountered along the approach.
Sort equipment after the fight, when you can inspect drops without interrupting combat.
Repeat, collect and use
Knoxx’s fight is not established as a repeatable farm by the supported route. Treat it as a mission encounter; Super-Marcus Sweep can provide another Armory visit, not a confirmed Knoxx rematch.
Common mistakes
Assuming Super-Marcus Sweep repeats the Knoxx fight: use it for its Armory access objective.
Leaving before checking the encounter area: search for drops once combat ends.
Entering without enough ammunition: reserve supplies for both the approach and the encounter.
When to stop or switch
Stop after collecting useful drops and completing the mission objective. If you want more containers, check whether Super-Marcus Sweep is available and use that route instead.
