Leaving and rejoining Crawmerax’s map allows another attempt at the endgame boss and another chance to inspect its drops. The method repeats the encounter without requiring you to replay the route through the Knoxx DLC each time.

WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Where to farm
Crawmerax’s Lair, accessed from the southwest highway ramp in Deep Fathoms, west of the red energy bridge.
This guide is about the reset loop after your first victory. Crawmerax is a high-level fight, and the reward is a new boss encounter with its own uncertain loot. Collect what you want, clear clutter if necessary, then exit and re-enter the Lair map. Be prepared to repeat the full fight; the route does not provide a shortcut through the battle itself.
Carry weapons that can hit the boss’s weak point and handle minions.
Have inventory room for any new drops.
Reach Deep Fathoms from The Crimson Tollway and drive to the southwest ramp west of the red energy bridge.
Enter the Crawmerax Lair and call the lift to begin the encounter.
Defeat Crawmerax, switching targets and damage types as the encounter requires.
Collect the boss and minion drops you want to keep.
Before leaving, remove unwanted ground loot if it is cluttering the area.
Exit the Lair back to Deep Fathoms, then re-enter the Crawmerax map through its portal.
Call the lift again and repeat the fight if you want another drop roll.
Farming tips
Keep the exit and re-entry route in mind before starting, so you do not mistake leaving the map for abandoning the farm.
Pick up or clear drops between attempts if clutter makes it harder to spot fresh loot.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeatable by leaving and rejoining the Crawmerax map after a kill. Each run requires another full fight, and drops are not guaranteed.
Common mistakes
Saving and quitting instead of rejoining the map: the documented repeat uses leaving and re-entering the Lair map.
Assuming the boss’s loot is fixed: inspect each run and stop when the result is not useful.
Ignoring ground clutter: clear unwanted loot before starting another attempt.
When to stop or switch
Stop when you have the gear you came for, when your inventory is full, or when the encounter is no longer worth the effort. Return later with improved equipment if the fight is too costly.
