WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Where to farm
Main menu → Points Shop → Golden Thread shop; Companion → character → costume → Potential screen.
A Tear of the Goddess unlocks a costume skill upgrade in the Potential screen, so treat it as a scarce account-upgrade material rather than an event-currency farm. The Points Shop lists Tears among Golden Thread purchases. Golden Threads come from duplicate costumes after a costume has reached +5; check the shop’s current stock and price before spending them. This route remains available through the shop system and does not depend on an October event stage. Use the Tear only after selecting a costume whose skill upgrade fits your active team, because the material is limited and the upgrade choice is hard to reverse.
Golden Threads available in the Points Shop currency balance.
Access to the Points Shop and a costume whose skill Potential is not yet unlocked.
Enough matching Magic Crystals and Gold for the Potential upgrade itself.
Open the Companion menu and inspect the costume Potential page for the character you are building.
Select the large skill-upgrade node you want and read its material requirements; verify that a Tear of the Goddess is still missing.
Open the Points Shop and choose the Golden Thread shop.
Check the current Tear listing, cost, and any purchase limit shown by the client before committing Golden Threads.
Buy the Tear only if the skill upgrade is a priority over the other current Golden Thread stock.
Return to the costume Potential page and gather any required element-matched Magic Crystals and Gold.
Unlock the selected node and check that the desired skill effect changed before spending another Tear.
Farming tips
Golden Threads are a conversion currency, not a direct drop from a stage; the guide source lists duplicate +5 costumes as their source.
A complete costume skill Potential path may take several Tears, so plan one node at a time.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat only when the Points Shop displays Tears and your Golden Thread balance can cover the purchase without sacrificing a higher-priority item. The shop purchase is limited by its displayed stock; this is not an unlimited direct farm.
Common mistakes
Treating this as an October event shop: the route is the persistent Golden Thread Points Shop.
Spending Threads before checking which costume node and other shop item matter most.
Buying a Tear while missing the required Magic Crystals or Gold for the follow-up Potential unlock.
Assuming Golden Threads accrue from any duplicate; the source describes duplicates after a costume reaches +5.
When to stop or switch
Stop after collecting the Tear needed for your selected skill node or when the shop stock or Golden Thread balance is exhausted; resume only when the shop and your upgrade plan justify another purchase.
