WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Where to farm
Path of Adventure > Cave of the element matching the character whose potential you are upgrading.
Elemental Caves in Path of Adventure provide Magic Crystals for costume potential. Choose the cave matching the character’s element, then use torches for its runs. Each difficulty’s boss clear unlocks auto-runs for that difficulty. Crystals cover potential nodes that require them, while skill upgrades on large nodes also require Tears of the Goddess, a separate limited resource. Crystal farming alone therefore cannot complete every potential upgrade.
Have a costume potential plan that needs Magic Crystals of a specific element.
Open the character’s costume potential page and identify the needed crystal element.
Enter the matching Elemental Cave in Path of Adventure.
Choose an available difficulty and inspect its current rewards.
If auto-run is locked, clear the cave encounters and defeat its boss manually.
Open the field menu and use the cave’s daily auto-run after the boss clear.
Spend torches on the matching cave while the crystals remain useful to your plan.
Return to the potential page and apply crystals to eligible nodes that also meet their gold requirements.
Farming tips
Focus on a character you use and whose potential upgrades are available, rather than farming every element at once.
Keep Tears of the Goddess separate in your plan: large skill nodes require Tears as well as crystals.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat with torches as they become available. Auto-runs unlock per cave difficulty after its boss is defeated; torch supply is limited and distinct from Cooked Rice.
Common mistakes
Farming the wrong element: match the cave to the character’s element and the node requirement.
Using Cooked Rice for cave runs: caves consume torches.
Expecting crystals to unlock every node: large skill upgrades also need Tears of the Goddess.
When to stop or switch
Stop when the planned crystal costs are covered or another element’s potential upgrade becomes the priority.
