Master Gifts in a progression-appropriate area

Build Gift proficiency through combat while progressing through areas where enemies can still contribute mastery. This gives you a repeatable way to inherit eligible Gifts without spending Haze to learn them early.

PC / Global, base game
WHERE & HOW TO FARM

Where to farm

A story area or Depths dungeon with enemy groups that remain challenging at your current progression; use its activated Mistle as the reset point.

Equipped Gifts gain mastery through combat, and mastered Gifts can be used with another Blood Code if you meet its stat requirements. The amount of progress depends on progression conditions, so repeatedly defeating enemies far below your current level may be inefficient. Use groups in an area that remains relevant to your character’s progression, then check the Gift’s status before continuing. This guide covers combat mastery, not Awake MJ310 collection or a particular guaranteed mastery rate.

GET STARTED

How to farm

Before you go

  • Have an eligible, unmastered Gift from a Blood Code.
  • Equip the source Blood Code and target Gift before fighting.
  • Have reached an area whose enemies are still relevant to your progression.
  1. At a Mistle, open the Blood Code and Gift menus and note which eligible Gift you want to inherit.
  2. Equip the Blood Code that provides it, then place the target Gift in an active or passive slot as appropriate.
  3. Choose a nearby enemy group in your current story area or an unlocked Depths route that you can defeat safely.
  4. Fight through the group with the Gift equipped; use active Gifts when useful, but do not rely on a fixed number of kills or a guaranteed amount of progress.
  5. Return to the area’s Mistle and rest if you want to revive defeated enemies for another pass.
  6. Check the Gift’s mastery status in the menu. If it is still progressing and the enemies remain useful, repeat the same route.
  7. When mastery completes, confirm inheritance in the Gift menu and check the requirements before equipping it on another Blood Code.

Farming tips

  • If progress is very slow, try enemies in a later area that better matches your current progression; the game does not provide a precise area-level target here.
  • Keep the target Gift equipped while defeating enemies so combat can count toward its mastery.

Repeat, collect and use

Repeat the enemy-group pass and Mistle reset as needed. This is a repeatable combat loop, but progress varies with enemy and character progression; it is not a fixed-yield farm.

Common mistakes

  • Grinding enemies that are far below your progression: move to a more relevant area if mastery barely advances.
  • Expecting a Gift to inherit while it is unequipped: keep the target Gift equipped during combat.
  • Assuming every Gift can be mastered: some Gifts are Blood Code exclusive, so check whether the menu permits inheritance.

When to stop or switch

Stop when the Gift is mastered and inherited, or switch to a more progression-appropriate area if repeated passes produce little progress.
