Where to farm
Late-game fixed pickups in Lothric Castle and the Dreg Heap, plus other base-game and DLC reward locations. The Dreg Heap is part of The Ringed City DLC.
Collect Slabs from specific late-game pickups and rewards, then use one at Andre when your chosen weapon is ready for its final reinforcement. This guide covers the base game and Fire Fades content: Ashes of Ariandel and The Ringed City pickups require access to those DLC areas. Slabs are scarce within a playthrough, so gather the fixed rewards you can reach and avoid spending one until you have confirmed the equipment path and required earlier materials.
Reach Lothric Castle or another late-game area containing a fixed reward.
Own and enter the relevant DLC before pursuing its pickups.
Identify an eligible regular weapon, shield, or spell tool to finish upgrading.
Check your inventory and note which fixed Slab rewards you have already collected.
Choose the regular equipment you want to reinforce and inspect its upgrade status with Andre.
Check your inventory for a Slab and confirm the item still needs one for its final reinforcement.
If you have reached Lothric Castle, search its late-game item pickups for a fixed Slab reward you have not claimed.
If you own The Ringed City and have entered it, collect the fixed Slab pickup in the Dreg Heap as you progress through the area.
Continue through accessible late-game areas and complete their progression rewards when those rewards provide a Slab.
After each pickup, confirm the Slab is in your inventory and mark that reward as collected for this playthrough.
Return to Andre once the weapon’s earlier reinforcement requirements are met and apply the Slab to complete its upgrade.
Farming tips
Keep a short list of claimed fixed rewards; these pickups do not respawn when you rest at a bonfire.
Check the item’s upgrade system before spending: boss equipment uses Titanite Scales, while regular equipment uses the Titanite reinforcement path.
Repeat, collect and use
Each fixed reward is collected once per playthrough. There is no standard repeatable enemy route for farming Titanite Slabs; additional fixed rewards require reaching other areas or another playthrough.
Common mistakes
Expecting ordinary Lothric Knight kills to produce Slabs: collect their other drops, and pursue Slabs through fixed rewards instead.
Searching the Dreg Heap without The Ringed City access: collect base-game rewards in areas available to you.
Spending a Slab before checking the equipment’s next reinforcement requirement: confirm it is eligible and ready for the final step at Andre.
When to stop or switch
Stop collecting when your planned regular equipment has reached its intended final reinforcement, or when you have claimed the accessible fixed rewards you are willing to pursue this playthrough.
