WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Where to farm
Archdragon Peak, around the Great Belfry bonfire route. Hunt Rock Lizards; Dragon Chaser’s Ashes can help orient you to the nearby area.
Rock Lizards in Archdragon Peak offer repeat attempts at Titanite Scales, with Twinkling Titanite also among their possible drops. This is an enemy-drop route; it does not make fixed treasure respawn. Before setting out, check the reinforcement menu at Andre to confirm the weapon uses Scales and identify the amount needed for your next upgrade. Scales are used for soul-transposed equipment up to +4, while regular weapons use other Titanite materials. The lizards do not guarantee a Scale, so collect and count your drops after each run.
Reach Archdragon Peak and activate the Great Belfry bonfire.
Check at Andre that the intended equipment requires Titanite Scales and note your target amount.
Bring a reliable way to defeat Rock Lizards; item-discovery equipment is optional.
At Firelink Shrine, inspect Andre’s reinforcement menu and confirm the next upgrade’s Scale requirement.
Travel to the Great Belfry bonfire in Archdragon Peak.
Follow the nearby route toward the area by Dragon Chaser’s Ashes and look for Rock Lizards.
Approach carefully and fight one lizard at a time when possible.
Defeat each lizard and check your inventory for Titanite Scales; note that Twinkling Titanite is another possible reward.
Continue through the nearby lizard encounters if the route is safe for your character.
Return to Great Belfry and rest to respawn the living enemies, then make another pass if you still need Scales.
Once you have the amount you planned for, return to Andre and reinforce the equipment.
Farming tips
A lizard kill does not guarantee a Scale. Check your inventory after each encounter and keep your target amount in view.
Fixed Scale treasure is separate from enemy drops and can be collected only once; do not count it as repeatable stock.
Repeat, collect and use
Resting at Great Belfry resets living enemies for further drop attempts. The Rock Lizard drops are chance-based; fixed treasure in Archdragon Peak is a one-time pickup and does not respawn.
Common mistakes
Farming the wrong enemy for this route: target the Rock Lizards near Great Belfry in Archdragon Peak.
Assuming every lizard yields a Scale: check the inventory after kills and repeat while short.
Farming Scales for regular weapons: verify the material in Andre’s menu first, since Titanite Scales serve soul-transposed equipment.
When to stop or switch
Stop when you have enough Scales for the planned reinforcement. If you have Dragon Chaser’s Ashes, check whether the Shrine Handmaid sells the Scales you need and switch to that option if it fits your plan.
