Where to farm
The stairs outside the Anor Londo bonfire building, where Silver Knights can be defeated and the bonfire reset for another attempt.
Use the stairs outside Anor Londo’s bonfire building to repeatedly defeat nearby Silver Knights and check for Large Titanite Shards. These materials raise reinforcement level; they do not change weapon scaling as an infusion Gem does. The knights may also yield souls and covenant-item attempts, but neither is a guaranteed side reward. Confirm the exact material your weapon needs before starting, then return to the bonfire to respawn the knights and continue until you have enough shards for the planned reinforcement.

How to farm
Before you go
Reach Anor Londo and activate its bonfire.
Have a regular weapon or other eligible equipment that needs Large Titanite Shards.
Bring a reliable way to defeat the Silver Knights on the stairs.
Equip item-discovery gear if available and desired; it improves drop attempts but does not ensure a shard.
Inspect the equipment at Andre and note the exact number of Large Titanite Shards needed for your next planned reinforcement.
Rest at the Anor Londo bonfire and head up the stairs outside the building.
Engage the nearby Silver Knights one at a time where possible, then defeat each knight and collect its drops.
Check your inventory for Large Titanite Shards; do not assume every knight kill produced one.
Return to the bonfire and rest to respawn the knights.
Repeat the stair route, checking your shard count after each run.
Once you have enough shards, return to Andre and reinforce the equipment; retain any extra shards for another eligible item.
Farming tips
Take on only as many knights as you can manage safely; a shorter clear that consistently reaches the bonfire is easier to repeat.
If you are also collecting Proof of a Concord Kept for Blades of the Darkmoon or Blue Sentinels, the same kills can serve both goals, though covenant drops are random.
Repeat, collect and use
Silver Knights respawn after resting at the bonfire, so this is a repeatable Large Titanite Shard drop route. Drops are not guaranteed; continue the loop only while you still need shards.
Common mistakes
Treating every knight kill as a shard drop: verify the inventory after runs because the drop is random.
Farming before checking the required material: regular equipment uses shards at this stage, while other upgrade paths may call for different Titanite.
Confusing a Titanite reinforcement material with an infusion Gem: take Large Titanite Shards to Andre for reinforcement, not infusion.
When to stop or switch
Stop after your inventory contains the Large Titanite Shards needed for the next planned reinforcement. Switch to another route if the equipment requires a different Titanite material.
