Where to farm
The Lothric Castle bonfire and the three nearby Lothric Knights.
The Lothric Castle bonfire gives access to three nearby Lothric Knights that can drop Titanite Chunks as well as Large Titanite Shards, Embers, and Refined Gems. Treat this as a chance-based enemy farm; fixed pickups in the castle are a separate, one-time source. Confirm the weapon’s material need before spending time on the loop, then collect drops and reinforce through Andre.
Check that your target weapon uses regular Titanite reinforcement rather than scales or Twinkling Titanite.
Bring a weapon and healing setup that can handle the knights repeatedly.
Have souls ready for reinforcement at Andre.
Check the weapon’s next reinforcement requirement so you know whether you need Chunks or a different material.
Rest at Lothric Castle bonfire and approach the nearby knights.
Pull one knight away from any cleric support before committing to a fight.
Defeat the three nearby knights and collect any item drops.
Check inventory for Titanite Chunks and keep track of your remaining upgrade quota.
Return to the bonfire, rest to respawn the enemies, and repeat if needed.
Take the collected Chunks to Andre and reinforce the weapon when you have the materials and souls.
Farming tips
The loop can also provide souls, Embers, Large Titanite Shards, and Refined Gem attempts, so check inventory before each reset.
If you only need one or two Chunks, collect unclaimed fixed pickups during castle progress before committing to repeated kills.
Repeat, collect and use
The knight drops are repeatable but random; rest at the bonfire to reset them. Fixed Chunk pickups are collected once and do not respawn as a farm.
Common mistakes
Farming Chunks for a boss weapon: those commonly use Titanite Scales, so inspect the weapon’s reinforcement screen first.
Expecting a Chunk from every knight: enemy drops are random and may require many loops.
Fighting a knight while a cleric supports it: draw the knight away or remove the support enemy to avoid prolonged combat.
When to stop or switch
Stop when you have enough Chunks for the next planned reinforcement, or switch to a fixed pickup route if you have not collected available castle loot.
