WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Where to farm
Keep Ruins bonfire in Farron Keep; nearby Ghru enemies are the target. The Farron Keep Perimeter bonfire is another compact Ghru route.
Farron Ghru can drop Wolf’s Blood Swordgrass, the Watchdogs of Farron offering. The useful offline method is a short clear near a Farron Keep bonfire followed by a reset. Each kill is only a chance at the item. Pick a reward milestone before starting, collect offerings as they drop, and turn them in at the Old Wolf of Farron.
Reach Farron Keep and activate Keep Ruins or Farron Keep Perimeter bonfire.
Join Watchdogs of Farron if you intend to turn in offerings for covenant rewards.
Bring a dependable weapon and enough healing for repeated Ghru fights.
Equip Watchdogs of Farron if you are also seeking online summons; offline drops do not require a successful summon.
Equip any item-discovery gear available to you.
Rest at Keep Ruins and move out to the nearby Ghru group.
Defeat the Ghru, taking care not to pull more enemies than you can handle safely.
Check for Wolf’s Blood Swordgrass and add any drops to your inventory count.
Return to Keep Ruins, rest to respawn the enemies, and repeat the same clear.
When you reach your target count, go to the Old Wolf of Farron and offer the Swordgrass.
Farming tips
Item discovery improves your chances over repeated attempts; it never guarantees a Swordgrass drop.
Use Farron Keep Perimeter instead if its nearby three-Ghru loop is faster and safer for your build.
Repeat, collect and use
This is a repeatable random-drop farm: clear the nearby Ghru, rest at the same bonfire, and do another pass. Continue only until the chosen reward threshold.
Common mistakes
Treating a cleared group as permanently gone: resting at the bonfire resets the enemies.
Assuming every Ghru type or route is equally convenient: use the named nearby targets and choose the bonfire you can reach safely.
Holding offerings without turning them in: visit the Old Wolf of Farron when the reward milestone is met.
When to stop or switch
Stop once you have the Swordgrass needed for your desired Watchdogs reward, or switch to online covenant play if you are being summoned regularly.
