WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Where to farm
Aether Events during an Infernal Horde entered with an Infernal Compass.
This route focuses on finding and defeating Aether Goblins during Infernal Horde waves. You need a Compass to enter, and the goblins are not guaranteed to appear: Aether Events can spawn them, so a run may offer more opportunities than another. When one appears, defeat it and collect the Burning Aether it drops. Keep in mind that the wave can end while a goblin remains; goblins persist until the level ends, giving you a chance to finish the encounter before leaving. Complete the Horde and spend the collected Aether on the final Spoils that match your goal.
Access to Infernal Hordes and an Infernal Compass.
A build that can handle timed waves and tougher enemies.
A clear priority for the final Aether spending, such as materials or equipment.
Use a Compass to enter an Infernal Horde and begin its waves.
Read the available Infernal Offers; choose manageable options that support Aether Events if offered.
Move to active events and complete their objectives while the wave is running.
Watch for an Aether Goblin spawned by an event and engage it promptly.
Defeat the goblin and collect its Burning Aether before moving on.
If a goblin remains when a wave ends, finish it before the level ends when safe.
Complete the final encounter, then spend your Aether at the reward chest.
Farming tips
Event frequency and goblin-related offers can complement each other when both appear and your build can handle the added difficulty.
Do not leave the level with a spawned goblin alive; it persists past the wave boundary, but not beyond the level.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat with another Compass while you need Burning Aether. Each run has separate waves and a separate final spending choice; goblin spawns are not guaranteed.
Common mistakes
Assuming every event creates a goblin: collect Aether from other events and enemies when none appears.
Rushing out at a wave boundary: check for a living goblin and finish it before the level ends.
Taking difficult offers solely for Aether potential: choose modifiers your character can survive and clear.
When to stop or switch
Stop once you have purchased the Spoils you need or your remaining Horde runs are no longer manageable; change activities for the next resource target.
