Build a Bird Cage Seed Loop

- A Bird Cage with a bird inside.
- Surplus produce from farming or foraging.
- Storage space for sorted seeds.
Feeding spare produce to a caged bird recovers seeds and lets a farm harvest support future planting as well as meals.

Keep a Bird Cage close to the farm and use it to convert produce you can spare into seeds. Collect and sort the output, then use those seeds for another crop cycle. This is especially helpful when you want to keep planting without depending only on world-gathered seeds. It is a loop with an input cost: you need a caged bird and produce to feed it, and the seed output should be checked rather than assumed to match a particular crop.
Repeat while the bird is caged and surplus produce is available. The loop pauses when you lack feedstock; it does not create seeds without produce input.
Stop feeding the bird when your next farm batch has enough seed or when the produce is more valuable as food. Restart after another surplus harvest.
