WHERE & HOW TO FARM

Where to farm

Expeditions menu, with random maps selected at a Chaos tier you can clear consistently.

In Expeditions, three consecutive wins on random maps activate the shard streak bonus. The extra pack starts on the fourth consecutive victory and continues on every win while the streak remains active. A Chaos Expedition also awards its normal pack at the cleared difficulty and a pack from a previous difficulty, so the bonus adds another pack from the current difficulty. This makes the streak useful when you want more rolls from a particular Chaos tier’s shard pool. Choose a tier you can clear across different map layouts, since random selection can change lanes and enemy threats. Keep the random-map option selected for counted runs, inspect the map and mutators before building, and claim each victory chest before queuing again. The documented streak ends if a core breaks or you leave the game; do not assume you can return later and preserve it. Sort each pack by shard type, then equip green defense shards in relics and blue hero shards in eligible armor or weapons. Stop when the desired shard is obtained or the added pack no longer justifies maintaining the streak.

GET STARTED

How to farm

Before you go

  • Unlock Chaos Expeditions at the tier you plan to run.
  • Select random maps for each run intended to count toward the streak.
  • Bring defenses that can adapt to the tier’s enemy types and lane threats.
  1. Choose a Chaos tier where your defenses can handle several different maps, and select random Expeditions.
  2. Start a map and inspect its lanes, enemy schedule, and special threats before placing defenses.
  3. Complete all waves without allowing a core to break, then claim the victory chest and confirm the run counted.
  4. Queue another random map and repeat the scouting and build process; keep random selection active.
  5. After three consecutive wins, the streak is activated; continue into a fourth win to receive the bonus shard pack.
  6. On each continuing win, claim the normal difficulty and previous-difficulty packs plus the extra pack from the current difficulty.
  7. Open the packs and sort shards by type; equip defense shards in relics and hero shards in eligible equipment.
  8. If a core breaks or you leave the game, treat the streak as ended and start again only if the bonus is still worth pursuing.

Farming tips

  • Three wins turn the bonus on; the extra pack begins with the fourth consecutive victory.
  • Random map selection and an intact core are the conditions to preserve the streak.
  • The extra pack is from the current difficulty; the ordinary previous-difficulty pack remains a separate reward.

Repeat, collect and use

Once activated, the streak pays the bonus on each later consecutive random-map victory; it ends when a core breaks or you leave the game.

Common mistakes

  • Stopping at three wins and expecting the extra pack immediately; the first bonus pack arrives on the fourth consecutive win.
  • Switching from random map selection to a manually chosen map for a run you expect to count.
  • Leaving the game or allowing a core to break, which ends the documented streak.
  • Treating the extra pack as a guaranteed specific shard; it is a pack from that difficulty, not a selected shard.

When to stop or switch

Stop after you obtain the shard or shard pool result you need, or when a failed run ends the streak and rebuilding it is no longer worthwhile.
