Where to farm
Gatefront Ruins and Gatefront Site of Grace in Limgrave.
Gatefront Ruins provides an accessible group of soldiers near a Site of Grace. Defeating them and resting brings the group back, so the route can fund an early level or modest purchase without a long trip. The reward is limited compared with later regions; treat it as a local stopgap and move on when the enemies take too long or the haul no longer covers your next goal.
Reach Limgrave and activate the Gatefront Site of Grace.
Carry a weapon or spell that can defeat the soldiers without spending most of your flasks.
Know where your runes are held if you die, so you can decide whether to recover them before another attempt.
Rest at Gatefront Site of Grace to reset the soldiers.
Approach the ruins from an edge and separate a soldier or small group from the others.
Defeat the enemies you can manage and collect the runes they drop.
Check the central area and nearby road for any remaining soldier you can safely fight.
Return to the grace and rest to respawn the group.
Spend the runes at a grace or merchant once they cover your intended level or purchase.
Farming tips
Use stealth or pull enemies individually if the camp overwhelms you.
Count healing and recovery time as part of the run; a clear that repeatedly ends in deaths is not productive.
Repeat, collect and use
The soldiers respawn after resting at the grace, so repeat the clear while the rune return justifies the time.
Common mistakes
Charging into the whole camp: draw enemies out in smaller groups and preserve a safe retreat.
Carrying a large unspent balance into another risky clear: spend it once the planned level or purchase is affordable.
Staying after the route stops helping: advance to stronger nearby enemies when the level cost outpaces this camp’s return.
When to stop or switch
Stop when your next level or purchase is funded, or switch to a stronger accessible route once Gatefront soldiers are no longer efficient for your character.
